Adding your ISO file from the Library server to the HyperV server as a physical library object
- Log in to the HyperV server
- Click on the Virtual Machine Manager Console shortcut on the Desktop.
- Enter the Server name and click Connect
- On the left hand navigation pane, select Library in the bottom section.
- Click Import Physical Resource in the top banner
- Click Add resource
- Go to Network, wait a couple seconds for all the Network computers to show up. Find the library server > <some folder you have> > RHEL7 Server > select rhel-server-7.9-x86_64-dvd > Open.
- Next, under the Select library server and destination for the imported resources section, click browse
- Expand the appropriate folder tree under your library server, and select the RHEL7 Server. Click OK. You should now see your object in the text box.
- Click Import. Voila
